May's Lunch and Learn - Preserving Family History

Dr. Erin Renee Wahl is an archivist for university records and associate professor at New Mexico State University. Growing up in Ohio, her education and career have taken her all over the world, teaching and engaging in library and archival work in all kinds of spaces. She landed in Las Cruces in August 2018 for a job at New Mexico State University. Her research focuses on the intersection of libraries and archives and sustainability, instruction in libraries and archives, and other topics in the field. She is also a published creative writer. On weekends she can be found walking her deeply weird little dog Baozi and enjoying the chisme from her zebra finches Taquito and Flauta
