Historically... The Picacho Hills Property Owners Association (PHPOA) was founded in 1984 with the objective of maintaining our property values. Our organization is a great source of communication regarding issues that will impact our community. We address safety concerns while undertaking projects to enhance the beauty of our area. The following are a few of the projects completed by the PHPOA:
The intersection of Barcelona Ridge & Picacho Hills Drive was redesigned, resolving the problem of washouts during heavy rains.
The monument at the entrance to Picacho Hills was repainted. The PHPOA retains a landscape company to make improvements and has installed cost-efficient lighting for the sign.
Tiled street signs were repaired, reinforced and the posts repainted.
The sign for Picacho Hill Country Club was repainted as well as signs at the club itself.
PHPOA contacted the County re: safety concerns, effecting the repair of the curbing on Picacho Hills Drive as well as damage on some other streets, plus replacement of reflective signs on the sharp curve on Picacho Hills Drive.
