History
The Picacho Hills Property Owners Association (PHPOA) was founded in 1984 with the objective of maintaining our property values. Long ago, issues of lighting, street signs, neighborhood watch were paramount as the community developed. Currently, the PHPOA is still a great source of communication about issues that impact Picacho Hills residents. We address safety concerns while undertaking projects to enhance the beauty of our area. The following are a few of the projects completed in recent years by the PHPOA:
In 2016, PHPOA raised money toward development of a professional Master Landscape plan for the planning, coordination and construction of a cohesive and professional landscape design on the main arterial streets of Picacho Hills. Once the plan was in hand, landscapers were hired to complete the work over a period of years as funding allowed.
The PHPOA improved the monument at the entrance to Picacho Hills with cost-efficient lighting and retains a landscape company to install and maintain plantings in that area.
PHPOA contacted the County to replace reflective signs on the sharp curve on Picacho Hills Drive.
Our landscape professionals continue landscape improvement and maintenance on major roads, with flagstone markers to attractively call attention to PHPOA landscape projects
Merchant Discount Program offering discounts to PHPOA members providing an up-to-date membership card.
Sponsorship of two annual neighborhood clean ups. The PHPOA contacts waste disposal companies for dumpsters to be placed in the neighborhood for the disposal of oversized items, a service open to all residents.
Annual directory of PHPOA members (provided to paid members only.)
Ongoing landscape maintenance of public areas on major roads not maintained by local HOA's.
